VALENTINE’S DINNER AND DANCE All are invited to dine and dance in celebration of love and fellowship on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Parish Center. Dinner will be served from 6pm to 8pm and the dance will be from 8pm to 12 Midnight. Tickets are $25 for 2 people (12 years old and up) $15 for Singles (12 years old and up) $7 for Children (3‐11 years old) Children under 3 years old come in for free. Beginning Monday, January 29, 2018, the parish will present an eight week preparation course for adults desiring to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. The classes will be held on Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:45pm, in Room 4 of the Parish Center. There is a $10.00 fee for materials. All are invited to participate in The Mission and Journey with Christ in preparation for Easter. Father Brian Walker, a Dominican Priest, will present “The Passion of the Christ” Mission at 7:00 PM in the church: Part 1: Sunday, February 18 (in English) Part 2: Monday, February 19 (in English) Part 3: Tuesday, February 20 (in English) The session on Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00 PM in the church will be In Spanish. The mission focuses on specifically the Passion and the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. But even though the days are spent in our own sinfulness and the sufferings of Christ, it cannot end there for we are a resurrection people. We are called to journey with Christ through all of this but we must look to the resurrection for our hope or we are a dead people. The mission is spread over the course of three nights and begins with the Last Supper. |
