Youth Ministry

A comprehensive Religious Education Process whose Goals are:

   1.  To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

   2.  To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community.

Seven different components are utilized to accomplish these goals.

Components:

    1. Evangelization:  Proclaiming the Word of God to our Youth by example, word and deeds

    2. Catechesis:  Providing formal classes in preparation for the three Sacraments of Initiation.

    3. Worship & Pray:  Making it part of the process during all activities.

    4. Community Building:  Opportunities to encourage and welcome our Youth to build and to be part of their Faith Community.

    5. Pastoral Care: Being present to our Youth when they are facing a crisis in their home, school or personal lives.

    6. Social Justice Awareness:  To provide the awareness and opportunities to put into practice the example of Jesus Christ.

    7. Youth Empowerment:  To encourage and affirm our youth to positions of leadership.
Meeting Time:  Every Tuesday at 6pm
